Mass with Marki

Today I got to attend mass with Marki. We go as a family on Saturday's because it fits our schedule well. However, because I am always attending to the kids, (Marki having to go potty, Levi running up and down the isle asking to go home, Oliver wanting to nurse, etc.), that I never get to really listen to the homily. So, today I chose to take Marki and teach her about the mass. I loved it. She is so smart. She sang loud and proud by listening to the hymn's and then singing her heart out. I was laughing so hard and trying not to. Levi always says "Thanks be to God" right after everyone else says it. Marki did it today and I have to say I was pretty impressed with her and how much she already knows about mass. She is upset that she doesn't get the 'little piece of bread' as she calls the host. "Mommy, I want to eat the little piece of bread too!" I tell her I understand and she will get too soon enough. Levi gets upset that he didn't get a 'cookie' as he calls the host. Levi gets to go next week. I'd like to do some one-on-one time with him so maybe he'll listen when It's just me and the kids. Gulp. I can only hope.

Congratulations Marki

Marki's Graduation from preschool. She has one more year of preschool since she doesn't make the Sept 1st cut. Thank God she was born in October so we get her for another year!

Taking a seat.

Mark's purple filter:) I can almost see what Levi will look like when he is older.
Levi waiting to see his sis. I want you to know Marki, your brother loves you so much and was so proud of his big sis. You and Levi get to be in school together next year:)
I really want to know what Oliver is thinking.

A rare family picture.

Memorial Day

We started the day by going and buying a fishing pole for Mark and Levi for their fishing trip. Levi was so super excited. Mark can't wait to take him fishing however, there is a daddy's girl who is not taking this well. Tears literally squirted from her eyes when she found out she wasn't going with them. She has had her Marki/Daddy date day since she was born and she is not about to share that special time. I feel bad but at the same time Levi was so patient with her and was the proud little brother with her tball, dance recital, and graduation so the attention is well due for him.

Then it was off to Ann Morrison Park to play. I am sure glad I brought changes of clothes! Here are some pictures of the day.

A Visit From Papa and Gramma

My in laws were in town this past week for a visit. It's been a while since we have seen them so we were super excited for their arrival. It was a busy week due to Marki's dance recital, Tball game, and Graduation so they were able to catch some fun things. We also picnicked in Swan Falls, shopped, and attempted the Zoo, (Marki Lyn got sick). Thank you Jack and Lynn for a fun time and for all you guys did for us. We love you!!!
