Marki Braves the Dentist

Getting ready for her first set of X-rays.

She picked out a pair of green sunglasses for the event.

Getting her teeth cleaned with none other than orange flavored paste.

Marki's Dentist is counting teeth and finishing the cleaning.

Today was Marki's Dentist appointment for her second cleaning. She did such a great job. She loves going to the Dentist. They really make it a great experience. While waiting to be called back you get to play in the coolest play place ever.

Once seated Marki was asked what kind of toothpaste for the cleaning and floride swab. Of course, Marki picks orange, her favorite color. They proceeded with the cleaning which makes her laugh. She says it tickles. Then for the first set of X-rays. Her teeth are cavity free and beautiful. When her Dentist came in he told me that he was going to sand down her front tooth from when it was chipped a few years ago. Now she doesn't have that sharp edge on her front tooth. She has perfect spacing between her teeth so she may not need braces. Yeah! That would be great! They also said Marki will probably be losing her baby teeth when she is six. I know that is in 1.5 years, but to hear that made me realize how big she is getting. (Heavy sigh)You were so brave Marki!
