It get's even better!
Marki just stated, "I hope President Obama bloggs so he can look on our blog and see what I did!"

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Marki, Malia, and Mark

Me and Lee

Daddy and Olli
We celebrated Mark's birthday last Wednesday by going to Applebee's for dinner followed by bowling. We were going to go ice skating but decided to bowl at the last minute. We are waiting to celebrate his birthday again with friends and family on a weekend that he does not work. We love you daddy you are the best daddy in the whole wide world!
"I love it when you give me candy!" From Levi
"I love our Marki daddy dates days. They are the best. You let me pick out my own candy!"
"Gaga goo goo" That's I love you from Oliver. He can't wait until you can give him candy.
Here is a poem Marki wrote at age 2 for Mark for Fathers' Day. All I helped her with was the question " What do you love about Daddy?" Written 6-14-07 Here it is:
Daddy, I love it when you throw me in the air and I go higher and higher.
You tickle me and I laugh and say, "Cut it out!"
You never get soap in my eyes when you wash my hair.
You always make me laugh. (She laughs)
You help me say my prayers and we pray together.
Daddy takes me to the park on our Marki, Daddy date day and we have a picnic. Somtimes I just want to play instead of eat.
You gave me a "time out" for putting sticks in Levi's mouth.
You save lives and put out fires! You work at the fire station and Levi and I come to visit.
You show me the fire trucks. They make a loud noise and go "Whew Whew Whew and have lights.
You give me hugs and kisses- You are the best Daddy!
Happy Fathers' Day!
Marki and Levi are working on new poems for you Mark. I'll post them when they are done. You'll be getting them soon. Love you and hope you had a great birthday. I also hope you have fun this weekend when we celebrate once again your birthday.

We had fun building a snow woman with you daddy!

Today was had so much fun in the snow. Levi has been wanting to make a snowman for a long time and today the snow was perfect. So a trip to the dollar store to get materials for the snowman was fun. Mark could only find pink gloves/scarve/mittens so we decided to make Frosty, Frostine. Marki make the head all by herself and Levi helped Daddy with the middle. Mark had to do the bottom all by himself. This was Lee's first Snowman so he was very proud.

Four Months Today!

Happy Four Months Oliver Owen! We love you!

Well, here is our youngest son at four months. What a little blessing he is. He is such a sweet boy! He is rolling over now and playing with toys. He seems a little more interested in what his brother and sister are doing and not so much scared of them. Mark and I certainly have the most beautiful, intellegent, loving, wonderful children ever! We love watching you grow Olli!

Happy Birthday Damon!

Grandma D and Oliver

Yesterday we celebrated my brother's 33rd birthday by getting together and bowling up a storm. We had so much fun! It was Marki and Levi's first time bowling and they had a blast pushing the ball down the lanes. Grandma D watched Oliver for me so I could participate. I believe the birthday boy was the high scorer and I have to say that Lee and Marki did a better job than I did! Way to go kids! Grandma D came over from Utah to help celebrate and I have to say, I absolutley love this woman! I am glad I got to spend some time with her as short as it was. She and Glen brought their grandkids with them and I think Marki had a little crush on Shawn. When we pulled up to the bowling alley she asked if he was going to be there. Pretty cute. She is still talking about him today. Oh boy! Mark better watch out! It was a great time and a big thank you to Damon and Jamie. You guys know how to party!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Marki and I had a girls day today. We went shopping and to the movie "Madagascar 2". She alway goes on Marki/Daddy dates so I was tickled when she wanted to go with me. The movie was super cute although Marki really doesn't watch movies for long. She'd rather play and that is perfectly fine with me. I think she only goes to the movies for the candy and popcorn. I had a great day with you, Marki! Thank you for the fun and laughs.
