A Kindergartener and a Second Grader!!!!!

I can hardly believe it!  School has started and two of my three babies are off to school this year.  I have been so excited for Levi I couldn't stand it!  I was up all night thinking about how his day would go.

I invited friends of mine and the kids to come over for breakfast so we could all walk together.  I woke up at 6:00 to get ready for this fabulous day.  When it came time to wake up the kids I went to Marki's room and found this......
Of course she had to call Poppy Jerry and let him know it was the first day of school.  Levi did not want to get up.  He must have gotten scared in the night and crawled in with Marki.

Breakfast was so much fun.  Filled with picture taking and good friends.  Cassie did Levi's hair for his special day.
 Aiden and Levi.
 I love this kid!
 Can't wait for school!

Getting a full tummy for a big day.
All in a row ready to go!
 And he is off..........

Lee going on the crosswalk for the first time.

Love her.  Please don't grow up so fast kids.  PLEASE!
 Too sweet.

Marki giving me the bunny ears.

 It's getting real.....
 Found his cubby.

This is where is gets hard.  Levi went from being such a happy kid to a deer in the headlights.  His personality changed and I panicked.
Giving me a hint of a smile.
Now I am getting a nervous feeling in my stomach.  He kept asking me what he should do.  When Marki went to K, they had the parents stay for a bit and do fun things with them.  Not this year.  :(  I think it would have gone better if they had done that.
Ok Cara, all the parents have left....Lets go!
Nope.  I stay longer wanting to take him back home with me.  I would have felt better if he had been more comfortable.  I am not used to seeing him like this.
I finally decide to leave and look up and out the window I see this.....
My goodness they crack me up!  Thank you girls for being there for me today!

We met Levi at the cross walk and of course have tons of video showing his first day.  They will be up soon.  My dear Levi, I am so sorry your first day was not what you were expecting but I promise it will get better.  You are an AMAZING kid and I couldn't love you more.  Daddy and I are always cheering for you.  XOXO

P.S.  You did tell me there were some cute girls in your class.  Oh my!
