Mini Monet's
Today was a great day. I took Marki to the library for the mini Monet's class where the kids listen to a story and then do some art work. Levi was just a year to young so Mark stayed home with the boys. I had never been to this particular library adventure but the kids go it alone and you come back in a half hour and collect them. Surprise!!! I got to have a full half hour to myself. Yahoo! I went and read magazines while my little artist was creating one of her masterpieces. After mini monet their was story hour. Marki listened to three stories being read and I was so proud of how well she behaved. Their were kids her age and older that were driving the reading lady crazy. Then Marki got to do another art project with pretzel sticks and marshmellows. Marki began to construct a tent and people who were roasting marshmellows when the teacher stated that they were not to eat their project until they were in the car. Right before we left I grabbed some of the pretzels to which my beautiful daughter replied, "Mom, you need to listen to directions! You are not supposed to eat your snack until you get in the car!" After that back home we went, Marki's creations in tow. Now, my darling son Levi was so excited when I got home because it was his turn to be a big boy and get mommy all to himself. I have decided that when Mark is home we are going to get him some alone time with one of us. It is easier for me to teach him how to behave in public places when I don't have two other adorable creatures with me. Plus, I love my alone time with each of my children. Marki showed Levi her pretzels and marshmellow whatchamadoo and he got his coat and shoes on ready for some fun.
Once we were at the library Lee ran in awaiting his pretzels and marshmellows. I felt so bad. He just couldn't understand why he couldn't do a project as well. I promised him as soon as we were home we would do our own project and that seemed to be okay. Lee picked out a whole bunch of sports books to read. His fave was a book about baseball. He looked at that book for the longest time telling me that his Uncle D was going to take him to a game some day. I read him a few more stories and then we decided to check out some books to take home and read. While waiting to check out books Levi walked up to a lady putting books on a shelf and struck up a conversation. He told her all sorts of things such as his daddy was a fireman and that he had a brother and sister, ect. She thought Lee was the cutest thing ever, (I have to agree), and showed Levi some stuffed animals and helped him pick out yet some more books. Then he got this look on his face and then said to her quite loudly I might add, "I POOPED!" Everyone was laughing so hard and he loved the attention he was getting. Well, that was a sign that we had to be getting along back home to show dad what books we got. I really enjoyed my time with my kids and hope to continue doing that in the future. I LOVE YOU GUYS!

To our children
Since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way.

Frostine the Snow Woman
Marki and Levi making a snow woman
Levi laughing at mom
Frostine
Today was had so much fun in the snow. Levi has been wanting to make a snowman for a long time and today the snow was perfect. So a trip to the dollar store to get materials for the snowman was fun. Mark could only find pink gloves/scarve/mittens so we decided to make Frosty, Frostine. Marki make the head all by herself and Levi helped Daddy with the middle. Mark had to do the bottom all by himself. This was Lee's first Snowman so he was very proud.
