Fun with the Fewkes

Last night we had our usual family night at the Fewkes. Of course, we have a blast. Irene and I decided to form a support group against our husbands:) It's way too erie how much Irene and I are alike and how much Mark and Dave are alike. "Cut from the same cloth" as Dave calls it.

The kids played so well and had a great time. I love that they all get along so well. Here are some pictures of our night.

Konor started crying after Cheyenne sang to him. Here she is with her reaction. She is so cute!
Strike a pose.

Big hugs.
Applebee's. The four musketeer's. Marki had on a ton of purple lipstick.
Mark is in the picture too. Can you see where?
What night isn't complete without fork fighting.
Oliver and Konor.
Most likely laughing at something Dave and Mark said.
Dave thought this picture was art. Guess what we are blowing up and framing for Christmas!
Smile.
Thumbs up.
Cheyenne and Marki making a heart.
Messy face.
So sweet.
Table wrestling. They really were well behaved. My pictures might say differently but the only chaos may have been when the waitress forgot about us and had us sit there forever. We came very close to just leaving.
More table fun.
Thanks for all the laughs! See you this Friday!

For Poppy

Last night while we were getting ready for bed, Marki came to me and told me she had a song in her head and she had to write it down. We were all ready for bed so I told her so could write it in the morning. She didn't protest. She went to bed. This morning she woke up and got her paper and marker and started to write her newest song. I scrambled to get a pen and paper so I could write it down. I didn't get all of it but here is what I got .

Your far away from me
You are all the way in Montana
I am happy to have you in my heart
So please come to me
So Poppy I love you very much
Please don't go
Please don't go
I"m glad to have you in my heart
That is the most I could catch. She made a real pretty tune to it too. I have the original and signed paper for you dad. I'll send it :)

Guess Who Called???

SANTA that's who!!!

Marki and Levi got a call from the north pole. Levi answered the phone and all I can say is I wish now I had it on video. I did hear Lee mention the 4 wheeler ;) Right after the call Marki and Lee started telling each other what Santa said. Then they scrambled all on their own to help me clean up because Santa was watching. Too cute.

A BIG thanks to my Uncle Tom for playing Santa this year. My dad has played Santa the past few years and this year Marki came to me and said, "I don't know why Poppy is pretending to be Santa." The Gig was up. It was my Uncle who saved the day. I can hear them talking right now in their room about the call:)

Hanging ornaments Oliver style

It was super cute to watch Oliver decorate the tree. He'd watch us for a while and then take an ornament, walk up to the tree and throw it there. Then go back for another one. Sorry the film is so grainy.

Our Christmas Tree

Here we are picking out the perfect tree.Marki decorating.

Oliver decorating.
Lee decorating.
Ta da.
All the stockings were hung by kitchen with care...in hopes that St Nickolas could get in without a chimney.

Who said batman didn't wear pink???

My dearest Levi,I apologize now for dressing you like a girl. It's just for the fact that a girl was born to this family first. You see, when I had a girl, I had to buy everything pink and purple. I am afraid now though since we have 3 kids are you are all expensive, we have to use hand-me-downs. Thus, the pink snow pants you are wearing. I know you don't mind now but when your dad shows this to your girlfriend someday just remember....it wasn't on purpose!!! :)

You better watch out. You better not cry

Here they are telling Santa what they want for Christmas. They wouldn't sit on his lap. My camera card was full so this is a short film. Right after they gave Santa a hug and Oliver gave him a high five. Too bad I missed that. I didn't get great pictures because they wouldn't allow it. $15 for one 5x7! Yeah right!
