Get Ready, Get Set, Go!

Marki and Levi did a great job at their race. They got to run after an ice cream truck. How fun! Marki and Lee started theses races when they were just about to turn two years. They love it and have so much fun. I also love how Marki is so proud of me when I run my races. I can just see it in her face. She tells people, "My mommy runs 955 miles!"

There are video's at the bottom of Marki and Levi crossing the finish line and Oliver Dancing. Damon said Marki ran her heart out and he was impressed that no one passed her. I love my little runners and can't wait for Oliver's first race.

Eating Spaghetti and coloring before the big race.

Showing off their numbers.
Marki told Levi he could run with Uncle D this time but when she saw him, she ran to him and told him she was running the race with him:)

Don't take too big a bite Uncle D. I worked hard for that ice cream!

It is a tradition to run through the fountain after their race.
So happy.

A Midsummer Night's Dream: Marki's Debut

My Rock Star in her "Rock Star" pose. She signed it and everything:) Marki got the opportunity to be in a play, "A Midsummer Night's dream" this summer. It was super cute to say the least. I wasn't sure if it would be worth the drive into Boise for one hour but seeing her perform at the end was well worth it. She played air guitar for the "Peter Quince Band" and played dead better than anyone I have ever seen. :) They said the lines, "Sweet Moon, I thank thee for thy sunny beams;I thank thee, Moon, for shining now so bright; For, by thy gracious, golden, glittering gleams, I trust to take of truest Thisby sight. Come trusty blade, farewell friend. Adieu, adieu, adieu." (She stabs herself and falls down dead) I had the worst spot for filming the play so there is just one video. I'll put it all on here eventually but I am way behind on my blogging. I am sorry Lynn. July was full so I had to get her in June's.

Side Note* I am a HUGE Shakespeare fan. I have read most of his plays and know a few by heart. Much Ado About Nothing is my favorite but Romeo and Juliet is the play I have memorized by heart. I know the whole thing. Test me. I dare you! And yes, I am a geek.

Marki getting ready to go on stage.

The cutest bunny ever.
Levi and Oliver loved watching their sister. You get to go next time Lee.

The Zoo

The Portland Zoo on PhotoPeach
At the close of our adventure we get a phone call at about 9:00 at night. It is Damon asking us where we are at because he and Hilary are on their way. They arrived at 4:00am. I know this because we got a call. Grrrr. Just kidding. Anyway, we all went to the Zoo where I met up with my friend Christa, her husband Bryan, and her beautiful little girl Emilia. I had such fun catching up and I realize just how much I miss her and all my friends. Love ya Chris!

The Aquarium

This was one of the kids most favorite places. Olli loved it too! It was quite amazing to see all the ocean life. We got to see an octopus, sea lion, star fish, jelly fish, sharks, sting rays, just to mention a few. Wow, the kids sure did learn a lot!

A seahorse.

Marki seeing what her wing span would be.
Marki trying to get Levi to do the same.

Marki checking out the fishes.
Levi super excited to show his dad something.
I used flash photography by this fish and got in trouble. Sorry fishy.
Me and the kids.
Mark, Mark jr, and Levi were inside this aquarium.
Oliver does not like my hair. He wouldn't go to me for a couple days.
They got to pet a shark among other things here.
Petting more animals.

Marki and baby jelly fish.
Oliver just loved looking at everything.
Oliver and the star fish.
I think this was his most favorite to look at.
This was super cool. You could see huge sharks and other fish above and below.
If you look closely you can see some divers in this tank.
Marki and Levi paid 51cents to flatten a penny. Marki is upset because she did not get any candy here. Who wants to pay $5. for a sucker?
Oliver took this picture:)
At the kids park at the aquarium.
Mark did such a great job teaching them about everything. They are so lucky to have such a fun dad!
