Daddy's Boy

I always knew Mark was Levi's favorite person in the whole world but I didn't really know how highly he thought of him until this Sunday. After coming out of Religious Ed he says, "Mom! Did you know Jesus caught thousands and thousands and thousands of fish?! He is almost as good a fisherman as Daddy!"

My dear Marki Lyn burst through the door from school really upset. She told me how a boy in her class received a letter that read something like this:

You are not allowed to come to my birthday.

I can only invite one guest and I am not inviting you.

Or something horrible like this. Marki was devistated and wanted her friend to feel better so she wrote him a letter that said this:

I am so sorry this happened to you.

You are a great friend.

Love, Marki

She put in a lolly pop for good measure. Then scooted down a few houses to deliver her letter. I just love this girls heart!

My Dearest Mark,

I still remember the first day we met. In Speech class in college. You sat down by me, with a big smile on your face, and we have been best friends ever since. Who knew 8 years ago, we would be where we are today. So in love and so perfect for each other. Don't think a day has gone by where I haven't thanked God for you.




I was thinking back tonight about our college days and every thought made me laugh. You, and you alone, have the ability to make me laugh til I cry or almost pee my pants. ;) You have been my shoulder to lean on and my soft place to fall. I love talking about our future with you. I love being your partner in crime and I love raising 3 beautiful children with you. Thank you for being the most amazing husband and loving me with you whole heart and soul. I love you Mark Anthony Benjamin!!!!! ROAR!!!!!

Marki's FIRST day of FIRST grade!

Well, the second round of first days. We had her at Falcon Ridge Charter for a few weeks and decided that Crimson Point was the school for us. Marki was so excited to get Mrs. Brilz for her teacher. I love you so much Marki! I can't believe you are almost 7 and in First grade!
